Lake Chelan is about a 3 hour drive from the Seattle area. It is a large, deep water mountain lake with clear water, incredible views, orchards, and vineyards. Because it is on the other side of the mountains, Lake Chelan enjoys a warmer, dryer climate with lots of sunshine!
Our home is situated on the South Shore of Lake Chelan. It is a 5-10 Minute drive into the town of Chelan, which has restaurants, groceries, shopping, a movie theater, and even a Starbucks!
There are more than 10 local wineries in the area (think Napa Valley...sorta). Our home is directly across (ie. walking distance) from Tsillan Cellars, which has an upscale restaurant, tasting room, and summer concert series. For more information, visit http://www.tsillancellars.com/.
